The Salisbury STEPS Program is designed for those
students of junior to senior high age with significant
mental or physical disabilities.
- I.P.P. (Individual Program Plan) is developed for each
student with programming tailored to their individual
needs. - emphasis is on functional life skill acquisition.
- programming areas include a focus on: self help skills,
behavior improvement, work skills, sensory stimulation,
communication (augmentative if necessary) and
community skills training. - high staff/student ratio.
